F2W 124 Returns to Seattle
The world’s biggest grappling party will take over Seattle Center as F2W 124 arrives in the Emerald City on September 7th.
As fans have come to expect from Fight 2 Win events, F2W 124 looks to be an unmissable show, with some of the best in Jiu Jitsu and Judo looking to entertain the crowd and earn glory. The card is filled with great matches from the top to the bottom and the black belt matches include two title fights.
The main event sees Marcelo Mafra take on Edwin Najmi for the Middleweight NOGI title, while the co-main is a Masters Featherweight title fight between Brian Johnson and Aaron Morris.
Out of the black belt matches on , the fight between Rodrigo Lopes of Gracie Barra and Angel Lopez of Halo Jiu Jitsu is set to be thriller. Angel “Halo” Lopez, in true warrior fashion, took the match after fighting Cassio Werneck in a Masters Welterweight title fight on F2W 123 in Sacramento just a week before, on August 30th. The Californian is looking to get a big win against Seattle-based fourth-degree black belt Rodrigo Lopes.
The match between Mayssa Bastos and Karen Antunes will be absolutely unmissable, with the two Brazilians hoping to come out on top. Bastos won the 2019 IBJJF World Championships, while Antunes won the previous year. Both are top class athletes at the peak of their game, so it is going to be a real battle.
F2W 124 has a great mix of weight divisions, as well as plenty of NOGI and Judo matches to make for a more interesting card than on other shows. The mix of local and international names, as well as different disciplines is part of what sets Fight 2 Win apart from the crowd.
