He has been grappling for over 19 years and had a brief professional MMA career in which he won all his fights by submission. Scott has had a superb professional grappling career, with multiple wins at top level tournaments. He was Chuck Liddell’s Jiu Jitsu and strength coach, as well as the Jiu Jitsu coach for team Liddell on Ultimate Fighter season 11.
Here Scott shows us his double arm bar.
When you have your opponent in your closed guard and broken down, if you are a 10th planet guy, they are going to expect you to start playing rubber guard. Instead, put your feet on their hips to keep them at bay while controlling their head. From here, you need to track their head movement. When you feel that they are about to pop up, it is time to go. As the posture up, circle both your legs around their shoulders, crossing your feet behind their head. They are going to fight here, but all you need to do hold both of their wrists and raise your hips off the floor for the double arm bar.
