Drill this Counter Punch Combo to Level Up Your Striking Game

Eddie Cha of The MMA LAB in Glendale, Arizona shows us an awesome counter punch combo that he uses with his top level athletes.

If you are into MMA, then the chances are, Eddie Cha needs no introduction.

Known for his All in MMA style, Eddie is a highly effective striking coach who works with the best in the world. Fighters such as Benson Henderson, Alex Caceres, Henry Corales, Courtney Casey and others prepare for their bouts on Bellator, UFC and OneFC with Eddie, safe in the knowledge that his coaching is second to none. With his unrivalled understanding of boxing and Muay Thai, Eddie makes the best better.

Here, Eddie works through a counter punch combo with UFC Featherweight Bobby “The Wolfman” Moffett. Using the Revgear Counter Punch Mitts, Eddie throws the right hand at Bobby, who pulls back to the right with a left hook, following it up with a right cross of his own. Eddie then throws a jab, which Bobby steps to the right to avoid, countering with a right uppercut and then rolling under and creating space with a left hook to the body, stepping back with it. Bobby then throws a right hook, left hook and a right cross to the head.  This is then followed with a double jab while circling, drawing Eddie out to strike at him again.

Start off slowly, steadily adding speed to the drill, so that it becomes reactive, not robotic.
